Sarangi Digital Arts / Studio

A house for the
things that don't fit.

Sarangi Digital Arts is a small London house making books, images, motion and identity. It exists because the interesting work kept falling between the categories — a children's book that is really about machine learning, a brand mark that is really a short film, an image that only exists because a machine and a person argued about it for a week.

Asif Sarangi

Founder · Author · Fractional CTO & AI Adviser

Twenty years spent translating hard technology into plain English — for founders, family offices and boardrooms across London, Paris, Monaco and Dubai. Named Best CEO Under 40 in Europe in 2025, and behind an IT consultancy recognised as London's most innovative the same year.

Sarangi Digital Arts is what happens when that habit of explaining is pointed at work that outlives a slide deck: a book a child will keep, a print somebody hangs, a film that makes a complicated idea land in ninety seconds.

The advisory practice — fractional CTO work, AI adoption, non-executive roles — continues at asifsarangi.com. This studio is the other half of the desk.

Capabilities

What the studio
actually does.

01 — Publishing

Manuscript to print

Structure, voice, illustration direction, typesetting, cover, printer-ready files. Trade and children's titles, published under our own imprint or delivered to yours.

02 — Digital art

Commission & licence

Generative and AI-assisted artwork for covers, campaigns, walls and editions. Directed concepts, archival-resolution masters, licensing written in English.

03 — Motion

Short-form film

Idents, title sequences, book trailers and launch films — scripted, generated, cut to sound and graded. Delivered in every ratio a platform will ask for.

04 — Identity

Marks & systems

Identity, typography, colour and the design system underneath — plus the website it has to live on. Built to still look right in two years.

Principles

Where we stand
on the machines.

01

Disclosed, not disguised

Where a machine helped make something, we say so. Generative tools are part of the studio's craft, not a secret to be managed.

02

A person signs every piece

Nothing leaves here on autopilot. Composition, edit and the decision to stop are human, and someone's name is attached to them.

03

Made for children, carefully

Work aimed at young readers is written to be read aloud, tested on real ones, and never talks down. Warmth first, cleverness second.

04

Small on purpose

A handful of projects a year. Enough time for the third draft, the reprinted proof and the version nobody asked for but everybody prefers.

Small house.
Long memory.

Four disciplines under one roof, and a short list of projects each year. Yours could be one of them.
